Trip to Sudbury

Day one of our mini-vacation was great! During the morning drive, Henri read up on the historical significance of the French River. We stopped at the French River Provincial Park for lunch and afterward went for a two hour hike.  The terrain was quite rugged but beautiful and the view at the end of the trail was breathtaking. It is far enough north from home that the landscape and vegetation offered many unusual and interesting sights.
