In August we spent a week at Grand-maman's house in Baie Des Sables taking a three-day mini vacation to Percé, Quebec. The Percé Rock is a limestone island-peninsula, once attached to the shoreline, is of
an impressive size: 450 m long, 90 m wide and 85 m high.We walked out to the rock at low tide when we got back from 2 hr boat cruise around Bonaventure Island, home to the largest northern gannets colony in North America.
