Julian's Birthday Party

Henri attended Julian's Birthday party on Sept. 6th. Julian had a Board Game Party which gave Henri an opportunity to try out a few new board games that you need to play with a larger group.

Grandma's Visit

We spent a week at Grandma's house in Baie Des Sables, Quebec during the week of Aug 22-28th. We went a bit later in the summer this year and were pleased to see seals while driving along the St. Lawrence. Henri brought a lap quilt for Grandma Ray's birthday that was made by Grandma Marie.We took a day trip to Exploramer Museum. The touch tank gave us an opportunity to handle local marine life.

Bronte Creek Provincial Park

On August 18th, Henri met his cousins Julian, Grace & Rosie at Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Luckily, the weather was okay in the morning to go swimming, as soon as they got out it started pouring rain. They enjoyed the play barn and visiting with the animals.

Grand River Raceway

On August 3 2015, we went to the Elora Horse Races with Grandpa Bud & Grandma Marie. It was the first time that Henri had every seen the races so Grandpa explained how it to place your bet. We luckily managed to not loss too much but unfortunately Grandpa's luck didn't rub off on us this time. We will definitely will be going back.

Julian & Rosie's Visit

On July 25 2015, Julian & Rosie came for a visit at our house when their parents (and sister, Gracie) went to the Hillside Festival. We had fun playing on the trampoline and going down to the lake to try and catch frogs.Gracie joined us later in the day and sang us a few songs.

Rockwood Conservation Area

On July 22 2015, Henri had a great time at the Rockwood Conservation Area with his friend, Peter. They went canoeing and hike a trail that led them to an interesting cave they have never explored before. They always enjoying spending time wandering threw the ruins.

Sleepover

On July 3, 2015 Henri had Peter over for the first sleepover during the summer break. Henri is looking forward to spending more time with Peter and his other friends this summer. Henri showed Peter how to build a bonfire.
