Every summer we book a weekend away with Henri's cousins (Ireland Family). This year we spent the weekend at The Paisley House and drove to the beach at Port Elgin.

Legoland

On Wednesday August 7th,  we met friends at Legoland at Vaughan Mills during our vacation. Henri said he liked visiting Legoland since it was a new experience, but instead of going back a second time he would prefer a Lego play date at home with Peter. The best attraction was the MINILAND where they build Toronto landmarks out of Lego pieces.

Field of Sunflowers

On Sunday, we drove to Hwy #6 to see the field of sunflowers in full bloom before going to Grandpa & Grandma's house for a visit. Thirty hectares of sunflowers create a spectacular picture at Bogle Seeds (largest grower of sunflowers in Ontario).

Frog Habitat

Henri's friend came this week for a sleepover and they spent a bit of time building a frog habitat. Henri always enjoys going to the lake to catch frogs and toads and Peter was delighted catching seven. The water in the habitat has started to breed mosquito larvae which will feed these frogs/toads.
Below is a link to video of Henri's breeding ground for mosquito larvae

Orangeville Rodeo

On Sunday July 21st we went to Orangeville to see the RAM Rodeo. We sat in the 'extremely hot' stands to watch the horse show right until the end to see the bull riding.
