Sleepover

On July 3, 2015 Henri had Peter over for the first sleepover during the summer break. Henri is looking forward to spending more time with Peter and his other friends this summer. Henri showed Peter how to build a bonfire.

Photography Club

On June 30, 2015 Tristan & Henri met the Sunnyside Photography Club at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory. Tristan has been coming monthly to Sunnyside (Melissa' work) to teach participants how to use their camera and some basic photography techniques. Every month each participant is given a  project and share their photo with the group. This was our first photography field trip.

Father's Day Party

On June 21, 2015 we went for lunch at Grandpa & Grandma's house in Carlisle to celebrate Father's Day and Grandpa's Birthday.Julian & Grace helped blow out the candles.

Backyard Chickens

On June 16, 2015, Henri was invited to take part in the Sustainability Lunch & Learn they had at Town of Halton Hills. Henri prepared a 20 minute presentation on his backyard chickens. Tristan & Henri enjoyed hearing the two speakers on beekeeping and Greenbelt. It was a great opportunity to practice his public speaking to this receptive crowd at their BBQ lunch.

 

George's Surprise Party

On June 20, 2015 Henri attended George's 12th Birthday Party. George seemed surprised when he came home and saw his family and friends. The weather was perfect for an outdoor party. Denise had four Zorb balls that she had purchased for George's Fun Park.

Bonfire & Garden

Our garden has started to grow. It will likely be just a few weeks for the green onions and lettuce to be ready. It was a beautiful weekend (June 6th) that we decided to have a bonfire - which turned out to be mostly smoke.

Confidance Dance Recital

On June 7, 2015 we went to Kitchener to watch Sheena dance in the Confidance Recital. The show was amazing - great music, costumes and dancing. The theme this year was "TV Shows."
