Riverside Park Picnic

During the gap between Henri's morning swimming lesson at the University of Guelph and the planned homeschool boys' club trail hike on Tuesday, we went to Riverside park for a picnic lunch. It turns out that the trail hike was cancelled because of periodic rain, but this cloud had a silver lining: Riverside park is usually very busy but because of the rain, Henri practically had the attention of every animal at Riverside park during his picnic lunch. I told him that with patience, I once trained a squirrel to take peanuts from my hand when I was his age. We didn't have any peanuts with us, but we had pretzel sticks!
